Leisure and Tourism activities in the Sydney Hills...

Welcome to the Hills Hawkesbury & Riverlands Tourism...

Closer than you think, the experiences to be had make you think you are million miles away from the city but you are only just under an hour.  A great break from the routine midweek or on a weekend.

We have everything from parks & gardens, wineries and farmgate trails, ballooning and canoeing, through to exquisite bed & breakfasts riverfront or in the unique Australian bush.

We have two visitor centres that are open seven days a week and our volunteers are happy to assist you any way they can.

Mungerie House visitor centre is a restored historic homestead that was established in the 1870's and has seen the growth and expansion of Rouse Hill throughout the years. Located on Bellcast Road, Rouse Hill, take Windsor Road, turn off either Sanctuary Drive or White Hart Drive and follow the blue street signs with the yellow information.

The Sydney Hills visitor centre is located at 656a Old Northern Road, Dural, adjacent to the historic Roughley House, also another icon of the era's gone.  Established in 1856, it has been passed through generations of the Roughley family throughout the years.

Come and visit this area, you will be amazed.
